"But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter;

we are all the work of your hand."  Isa. 64:8

What We Do

Proclaim His Word

     Isaiah 64:8 says “We are the clay, you are the potter, we are all the work of your hand.”  This is one of many passages in the bible when the analogy of God being the potter and we being the clay is used.  In this presentation Laura Torres of His Earthen Vessels Ministry explores the depths of the analogy by not only speaking about it, but also by doing an actual visual demonstration of throwing a vessel on a potter’s wheel.  Every step of the process is illuminated by scripture and related to our lives as Christians.  This experience is also creatively combined with special music, singing, and a candle lit ending challenging us all in our walks as Christians to let God’s light shine through our lives in all that we say and do.

     This ministry team would love to visit your church.  His Earthen Vessels is available for morning and evening worship services, bible study groups, teen events, children’s groups, etc.  We are very flexible with our presentation working to meet what time frame meets your needs.  We are seeking to fill our calendar with church visits so please contact us to book a date.  We do not charge any type of booking fee.  We do ask the church permission to display a table with pottery pieces to sale to raise money for the ministry and we ask for a love offering to be collected to help provide our expenses.  We know that God will provide for us wherever he is guiding us.

     So please allow us to visit  your church family and we will gladly bring this divinely inspired analogy to life and make its’ truths visual and relevant to our daily walk as we are continually being molded by God our Potter to become the Earthen Vessels that he intended for us to be.  For more information on booking a date or questions please contact us.  Thank you for your time and interest.  We are simply trying to be obedient in our service to Christ.

BLAKE RACKLEY …Professor, Emmanuel College…Professor, Liberty University

" What can one say about a presentation of water, clay, and 8 square feet of tarp?  Imagine a setup of a potter’s wheel with a lump of clay spinning.  Dressed not in Sunday’s best but humble attire, Mrs. Torres begins her presentation explaining how we are much like the clay.  With steady hands and practiced moves, Mrs. Torres shapes and molds the clay into a beautiful bowl all the while sharing about the guiding hands of God, the freedom from the resurrection of Jesus, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  It is a sight to behold!  Mrs. Torres gives her audience a glimpse of the wonderful yet whimsical side of God.  She shows her audience how God can take a mess and make something majestic.  Never have I met a more genuine person, who uses their talent so humbly to draw people to God!  Her presentation style also allows for audience participation, which only adds to the relevance and applicability of the message she is conveying.  I ask you to seriously and prayerfully consider Mrs. Torres as someone to minister at your church or organization.  You will be amazed at what God does through her ministry!
